Several Bikes

£2,500 worth of Bikes were among property stolen from a number of sheds in Barnt Green and Alvechurch, North Worcestershire.

The bicycles were all stolen from one shed in Sandhills Green, Alvechurch, and included:
A Cyclocross Genesis Vapour model in black with yellow tyres, which was worth £700;
A Brompton folding bike worth £700;
A Vio racer worth £700;
A Specialized Hardrock model with back rack, worth £250;
A Trek Hybrid worth £200.

Stumpjumper and Lapierre Sensim

A specialised red and black carbon Stumpjumper and a black and white Lapierre Sensim road bike were stolen from Coronation Avenue, Bath some time over the last ten days.

Anyone who has seen the bikes or has been offered them for sale is asked to contact police

Silver/grey C Boardman Team MTB Mountain Bike
Stolen Tuesday 3rd April approx 10:20PM/10:25pm
Bike also had Grey Drinks Bottle / on same bracket small mini type pump. Rear LED light attached to seat stem from bracket for LED on handlebars but no LED as I still have in a bag. Also a Releigh Trip Computer & sensor attached to front forks on right hand side if you were sat of it and small magnet on wheel (sensor very angled due to fatness of forks). Tyre valve caps mismatch as rear had new innertube though I have already had to put a tyre patch on on the tube.
whoever did it cut through main lock with motorised cutter as that is what alerted me but person or persons were off and gone by the time I managed to get down to it.

BMX Mountain Bike

A brand new white BMX bike with the word “ZINC” written on the frame in green was stolen from a 13 year old boy as he walked through Priory Park with his elder brother. It was a surprise present from his mother just the day before.

Dudley CID are looking for 2 men: one is described as being an Asian / mixed raced man, aged between 16 and 18 years, of medium build and approximately 5’6″ tall. He was wearing a pale blue cap and a black track suit with white stripes on the sleeve,the second is a white man of chubby build and approximately 5` tall with dark hair. He was wearing a black leather jacket.

TREK EX8 Mountain Bike

A black Trek E8 Mountain bike was among items stolen from a private garage. Other goods included a Panasonic 40″ 3D TV worth £1000, a portable welder, a grinder and a satnav. The total haul was about £4000 worth. We would like it all back but the bike is really missed.

Klein Mountain Bike

The Klein bicycle, believed to be one of only a few in the UK, was stolen from a domestic garage.

When it was stolen the red, orange and yellow bike was in pieces awaiting assembly, all the parts being tied together with tape and cardboard.

The bike has the Klein name clearly marked on the frame, along with a metal tag with the words ‘Bike Works, Sylvania, Ohio USA’ inscribed on it.

Anyone with who believes they have information about the burglary or may have seen the bike or any of its component parts is asked to telephone DC Kathryn Baker at Sutton-in-Ashfield CID on 101, ext 806 3733.

Orange 5, Santa Cruz & Lapierre bikes.

A photo of one of the stolen Orange 5 mountain bikes. Sometime between 11am and 11.45am, it appears that thieves gained access to a garage at the side of the property by reversing a white van into its wooden doors and forcing them open.

Once they had gained access to the garage the thieves stole four high value downhill mountain bikes from inside, loaded them into the van and then made off with them.

The mountain bikes are described as two Orange 5 models that are red in colour with black wheels, a black and white Santa Cruz V10 carbon downhill bike and a blue and white Lapierre bike.

The total value of the stolen bikes is thought to be more than £15,000.

Specialized Stump Jumper

Gold and grey Specialized Stump Jumper FSR Pro Carbon 2011.

It had a Specialized black and white water bottle, black mudguards and a cats eye spotlight at the front.

Black Mountain Bike

The incident happened at around 11:50pm on Saturday 18th February 2012 at a flat in the city.

The offenders, three men, forced their way into a top floor flat and once inside threatened a man, hit him over the head with a chair and stole an expensive bike.

The victim was not seriously hurt but is keen to be reunited with his bike.

The bike is a black ‘Specialised’ ‘Rock Hopper’ mountain bike with white stripes on it, white seat, white grips and white suspension. There is also a dent on the centre crossbar.
