Stolen on 30/31st December 2011 from Atcham (post address Uffington) nr Shrewsbury.

Also stolen Opera Il Canova (black and white) carbon road bike and light blue ladies Giant mountain bike.

A passerby came to his aid after finding him unconscious at about 8.20pm – but his BLUE & BLACK TREK MADONE ROAD RACING BIKE had been stolen. He was checked over by paramedics but did not need further treatment.

It happened as the cyclist was riding towards Warmley, approaching a bridge in the Siston Common area, having just passed Mangotsfield station.

He’s a soldier who has been serving in Afghanistan and was training on a customised bike he uses for races.

Anyone with any information which could help police enquiries is asked to contact South Gloucestershire CID on 101.

The bikes – worth around £7000 in total – were stolen from a garage along Milton Road between the afternoon of Thursday 1 December and the morning of Saturday 3 December 2011. The garage door had been forced.

One of the stolen bikes is a black Verenti road bike with flashes of red on the frame.

The other two bicycles are both mountain bikes. One is a white and mid-blue Focus Fox that has blue, black and white striping on the saddle. The other is white and black, with gold front suspension and flashes of green to the frame and wheels.

These bicycles can only be purchased from a company called Wiggle – they are distinctive bikes and are easily identified.

Anyone who knows of someone who has recently come into possession of similar bicycles, or anyone who has been offered such items for an unusually cheap price, should call the police urgently.

It is described as a men’s blue Carrera Vulcan bike. It has white mud guards, a black coil lock and silver and black bottle holder.

Thieves forced their way into the premises on Limekiln Lane in Wellington some time between 9am on Monday (24 January) and 11am yesterday. (27 January)

Twenty pedal cycles which are used by schools – totalling a value of around £7,000 – were stolen.

Ten Carrera Fury mountain bikes were stolen along with 10 Hardrock mountain, of which three are red and seven are silver.

Frame number is WBK347621E, the bicycle has some scratches on the top handlebar (where I used to keep my D-lock) and a few light marks on the side of the frame.
