The stolen tack included a new model Amerigo black dressage saddle, which had only been used three times.

The centre’s CCTV was tampered with, however local cameras have identified two white transit vans, one with a stripe on the side which are believed to have been involved.

Stolen on Thursday 8th/9th September after 5pm and before 8am

Four distinctive head collars, embroidered with the names Vice Versa, George, Billy and Hercules, were also taken.

Several other items were taken, including concrete statues, one of a horse and cart and the other of an Easter basket, which had been on display outside the stables.

It is a dark chocolate colour with a suede seat and distinctive stitching, and a bright orange sheepskin underside.

It also has large pine coloured wooden stirrups which are very unusual and specially ordered.
