Rare Tricycles

The two rare Tricycles were stolen from Borden primary school in Sittingbourne over the Bank Holiday weekend.

These bikes are not available to the public to buy, and we hope that they will be recognised due to their rarity. The cycles are worth around £150 each.

Puppet

A 10-foot puppet dressed as a regency gentleman has been stolen after a children’s parade.
The character, named Percy, is holding a book, and wearing a waistcoat made from a map of the world and a top hat.
He shouldn’t be hard to find and his owners would like him back. He was created for a charity and his owners are worried about him. Clearly they have a sense of humour as they say:

“We’re very upset and terribly worried about him. He’s a gentle soul, a romantic and a scholar and really shouldn’t be out in Brighton on a Saturday night. He needs looking after.”

If you know where he is, please return him to the charity.

Church Carvings

A 14th century alabaster carving has been stolen from St Peter’s Church, Drayton.

The carving, one of a set of six, was mounted on the wall of a prayer room.

It is believed the carving, worth in the region of £5,000, was stolen while the church was open to the public.

We believe this could be used to “decorate” a house or even a patio so please could dealers in architectural antiques watch out for us.

Hospital Equipment

A computer, oxygen cylinder and defibrillator have been stolen from Pontefract Hospital. A defribillator is used to re-start the heart when is has stopped and could be dangerous if used.

No personal or confidential information is stored on the computer.
Police are trying to trace four teenagers who smashed windows to gain entry to the hospital.

Marine Light

A marine light has been stolen from the beach in Heacham.

The Carmanah M650 was set up by an environmental measuring team before dawn on New Year’s Eve. The two man team set it up on the rocky area next to the boating ramp and then heading around 1km out to sea to conduct their tests.

The light was stolen sometime between 6.50am and 7.15am,on 6th Feb while it was still dark.

The light is powered by a solar panel and the only way to stop it flashing 5 times every 20 seconds is to turn it off with the remote control, which the measuring team still have. If the batteries run out, as soon as it comes into contact with light it will start flashing again.

It is cylindrical, weighs about 1kg, measures 15cm x 15cm and is grey with a silver band running around its circumference. It also has EMU LTD written on it in black permanent marker.

Thousands Of Pounds Worth Of Equipment Stolen In Redditch
Police are appealing for information about the theft of £16,000 pounds worth of equipment from a storage container in Redditch.

It happened in Middlehouse Lane, where work is being carried out to the road.

The theft thought to have happened at or just after 5pm on Monday 6th February.

Stolen was a brand new Ingersoll Rand compressor worth £8,000, a trench wacker and flat wacker plate worth £2,600, a floor saw worth £1,800, three digger buckets worth £2,000, and a jackhammer, two steel saws and hydraulic hoses worth £1,600.

The site is near the fire station, and witnesses or anyone with information, including anyone who saw what they may have thought were legitimate workers returning to the site after work had finished for the day, are asked to contact West Mercia Police.

Overnight on Monday thieves stole a Volvo Excavator from a building site on Church Lane, Mirfield.

The 1.5tonne digger is yellow and black and has a fleet number – 7040 – welded onto the side of its arm

Minelab GPX 4500 Metal Detectors

About 300 boxes of detectors, with a total value of £400,000, were taken when thieves broke into a lorry’s trailer while it was parked up overnight in Low Moor.

Boxes of Minelab GPX 4500 metal detectors were taken..

The stolen metal detectors are owned by Minelab, of County Cork, are a very specialist product, used at the higher end of the market to identify gold nuggets.

Bronze Boat Pump

The Helm Telemotor steering pump was taken from a farm sometime between Tuesday 27 December and Wednesday 28 December 2011.

The pump, which is valued at approximately £6000, is cube-shaped and was a light green colour but most of the paint has come off over time.

The pump is very heavy and would have taken two people to lift and a vehicle to transport it away from the scene.
