A Brass lectern has been stolen from church in High Easter.
The brass lectern is Victorian, about 5ft high and has the figure of an eagle at the top. It has an estimated replacement value of about £30,000.
Up to four men are thought to have been involved in the theft and a lorry or van could have been used to carry away the lectern.
Police would like any information about anyone trying to sell the lectern.
Police have released a photograph of the lectern in the hope that it can be recovered if offered for sale or for scrap.
