The Klein bicycle, believed to be one of only a few in the UK, was stolen from a domestic garage.

When it was stolen the red, orange and yellow bike was in pieces awaiting assembly, all the parts being tied together with tape and cardboard.

The bike has the Klein name clearly marked on the frame, along with a metal tag with the words ‘Bike Works, Sylvania, Ohio USA’ inscribed on it.

Anyone with who believes they have information about the burglary or may have seen the bike or any of its component parts is asked to telephone DC Kathryn Baker at Sutton-in-Ashfield CID on 101, ext 806 3733.
