Old Notes and Jewellery
Police are appealing for the owners of items of jewellery and old bank notes recovered from a house in Loscoe to come forward.
Officers recovered the items from a house in Loscoe, as part an investigation into a burglary in Codnor on Saturday, April 14.
A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
The recovered items include a gold bracelet with ‘Stephen’ engraved on it, a gold ring with the letter ‘S’ on it, some collectable old Bank of England notes in £1 and £10 denominations, jewellery boxes and a wallet.
Police believe the items may have been stolen in burglaries around the Heanor, Loscoe, Codnor and Ripley areas.
