We’re asking for help after thieves stole four calves from a pen at a farm at Itchington on Friday night, May 31.
The thieves took the female Holstein calves, aged between four days and four weeks, from their pens.
It happened between 11pm on Friday and 4am on Saturday June 1.
The calves were being weaned, but two of them were ill with scour and were marked with orange stain to show they were being treated. They all have ear tags. They’re so small they could have been taken in a large estate car or small van or trailer – the thieves wouldn’t necessarily have needed a cattle lorry. Anyone who saw any vehicles in the area of Itchington Road, Latteridge
Lane or Earthcott Road at that time – or who has any other information which could help is asked to please get in touch with the police.
