52 copper anodes stored in cyanide soaked bags have been stolen from an industrial unit in Morecambe.

It appears that the thieves put them through a rinsing tank before they were taken, so it seems likely that the thieves knew what they were doing and these were stolen to order.

DC Dylan Hrynkow from Lancaster CID would like to know where these rods are as he believes there could still be a risk to anyone handling them.

Have you been offered cheap copper anodes? If so, please contact DC Hrynkow. Contact Lancashire Police on 101 quoting incident reference 0140 of 31 March.
