Two antique chairs stolen from church
Police appeal for witnesses and information from members of the public and antique dealers Police are calling on members of the public and antique dealers for help after two ornate wooden Bishop’s chairs were stolen from St Mary’s and All Saints Church in Boxley on Tuesday 12 April.

Two men were seen loading the chairs into a silver hatchback at around 4.15pm after they were taken from the chancel and nave of the church.

Officers believe they may be sold on to antique dealers and are asking them to check any chairs they are offered for sale.
