A 14th century alabaster carving has been stolen from St Peter’s Church, Drayton.

The carving, one of a set of six, was mounted on the wall of a prayer room.

It is believed the carving, worth in the region of £5,000, was stolen while the church was open to the public.

We believe this could be used to “decorate” a house or even a patio so please could dealers in architectural antiques watch out for us.
