Police have released images of jewellery worth more than £30,000 that was stolen during a burglary in Stockport.

The thieves stol an iPad worth £400, Asian clothing worth £5000 and Asian jewellery worth £30,000.

Constable Steven Basham said: “The victim has been able to provide some images of the jewellery that was stolen, so if you are offered anything that looks similar for sale then please contact police.

“Similarly, I would ask that any pawnbrokers or jewellers be vigilant and look out for anyone who may approach you with jewellery like this.

“The items taken, as well as being incredibly valuable, were of huge sentimental value to the victim and she is desperate for their safe return.
