Police would like to speak to anyone who purchased a Jack Russell puppy in the Sutton-in-Ashfield area following a burglary last month.

Five Jack Russell puppies were stolen from a shed in Teversal at some time between 8pm on Saturday 10 September and 7am on Sunday 11 September.

The dogs, which were six weeks old at the time, were stolen from an outdoor shed at an address in Crompton Street.

The puppies, which are all black and white, had gone and their mother had been left behind.

They will be about nine weeks old now. Anyone who has recently purchased a Jack Russell, and believe they could be stolen, should contact Police.
