FOUND - WWII Medals
Police in Newbury have released images of some medals which they would like to hand over to the rightful owner.
The WWI medals have a name engraved on them and were seized in March this year.
PC Sian Lewis from Newbury police station said: “Unfortunately, we have no records of where these medals may have been taken from or who they belong to.
“I am keen to give them back to their rightful owner and am appealing for anyone who believes they could be their medals to contact me.”
Anyone claiming to be the owner of these medals should call the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 101 and ask to speak to PC Lewis at Newbury police station.
You will be required to provide proof of ownership, which includes giving a full description or original pictures.
