This red and black Honda Foreman Quad bike was stolen from the Filey lifeboat station

Sometime between 5pm on Sunday 8 July and 3.45am on Monday 9 July 2012, thieves smashed a window in the door of the station and took a red and black Honda Foreman quad bike worth £8000.

PC Chris Garrick, of Filey police, said: “It is disappointing that someone would target an organisation who regularly save lives and provides such a great service to the public.

“The quad bike is quite distinctive and I am appealing to anyone who may have seen it being ridden around the Filey area overnight or this morning to contact the police or Crimestoppers with information.

“I would also like to hear from you if you have been offered a similar item for sale recently or have any information that can help the investigation.”
