Two painted, 15thC oak panels have been stolen from Holy Trinity Church, in Torbryan, over the last three weeks.
The two stolen panels show images of St Victor of Marseilles and St Margaret. (The two figures on the right of the attached photo.)
Another panel with an image of a female saint was damaged but left in the church.
The panels are of national, historical importance and belong in the church. Please, if you see these offered for sale, or you know the person who has “obtained” them, phone Devon Police.
