Two houses in Port Talbot were burgled.

An 86-year-old has had a large quantity of jewellery stolen from her house, including wedding and engagement rings and various other rings, many of which come from Germany with German hallmarks.

In the second burglary various items were stolen including an orange zip-up purse containing cash, bank cards, identification and family photos and a black wallet containing bank cards and student identification. Also taken was a tablet computer, three packets of Amber Leaf tobacco and a gold engagement ring in a H Samuel box (pictured), as well as a rare coin.
