A distinctive Searay 160 speedboat with yellow stripes on the side was stolen whilst parked on a trailer in the road.

A vehicle described as a silver Vauxhall Vivaro or similar was seen driving away with the boat on a trailer. The Vauxhall at that time had a green kayak on the roof.

PC Andy Bradbury of the Hastings Neighbourhood Response Team, said: “I am interested in speaking with the owner of the Vauxhall Vivaro in connection with this incident. If you know the owner of this vehicle or have any other information, I would ask that you contact police on 101 quoting serial number 1240 of 03/08.”
