Police are appealing for help in tracing silverware stolen from Bamburgh Castle Golf Club earlier this year.

Two men have been arrested and most of the items were recovered. But three trophies are still missing. Have you seen them?

One is a silver trophy in the shape of a cigarette box. It has an enamel section on top with a picture of Bamburgh castle on it. The inscription reads ‘Bamburgh Castle golf club, Souter Trophy, Ladies Scratch competition’.

The next is also a silver trophy in the shape of a cigarette box. The inscription on the top reads ‘ Bamburgh Golf Club, Championship golf trophy, presented by E.G Hill, 1961

The third is a silver two handled trophy with the inscription ‘Bamburgh Vs Ponteland’.
