POLICE are investigating after more than £1,000 worth of artwork was stolen from a community art project exhibition in Dursley.

The art, by Gloucester-based surrealist Mark Jephcott, was taken from one of the On View displays in Silver Street.

The items stolen were called Death Metal, Inscape, Cybernetic Make-up, Human Beans and Evolution and their combined value is £1,145.
