This picture was stolen from a stall at the Badminton Horse Trials.

It is an original watercolour valued at £12,500.

The picture, titled “The ‘Osses loves the ‘Ounds but I loves Both” is by the artist Snaffles and dates from around 1935.

The eight by 10 inch hunting scene in ink and watercolour is in a black frame. It shows a horse and rider surrounded by hounds and has a handwritten caption.

Police are keen to speak to a man who was seen examining the painting earlier in the day. He was described as white, aged about 40, about 5ft 10ins tall and with short brown hair.
