High value bottles of whisky were stolen when thieves broke into the visitor centre at the Glenglassaugh Distillery, Portsoy, Aberdeenshire.
A number of bottles of unusual whisky were taken.
Among the bottles taken were
* 37-year-old and 40-year-old Glenglassaugh malt whisky along with
* bottles of Glenglasshaugh Evolution, Tonfa and Revival whisky.
* four pot stills and
* a quantity of Lyle and Scott jumpers, coloured blue, grey or green with ‘Glenglassaugh Distillery’ embroidered on them.
It seems likely that the thieves will try to sell these items and Constable Geraint Kalies would like to hear from anyone who is offered whisky or clothing branded with Glenglassaugh Distillery. Contact Police Scotland on 101.
